Stargazer Yacht Charters
Concept website for a memorial and heritage yacht charter on the Cape Fear River.
A concept design I made on my own. Stargazer Yacht Charters is not a client.
Overview
Project overview
A small charter company on North Carolina's Cape Fear River that offers ash-scattering ceremonies, private celebrations, and heritage cruises. That is a wide range of occasions for one website, and this concept site is designed to handle all three.
Approach
How I approached it
A memorial and private charter company on the Cape Fear River needs something different from a website than most local hospitality businesses. People book for ash-scattering ceremonies, private celebrations, and heritage cruises. Those are very different occasions, and the site has to suit all of them, including the serious ones.
I designed, wrote, and built this concept site on my own. A navy, cream, and gold palette, a photography plan, and calm typography keep the focus on the testimonials and the boat itself. The tone is respectful and specific throughout.
