Christian Trades Live
A disciplined editorial presence for a live trading-commentary and education community.
Trading education is a category that sells with screenshots of green P&L and promises of a number. This build takes the opposite position: the offer is process, and the design has to make process feel like the more serious choice.
The home opens on a live status bar — the trading date, the focus, whether the session is pre-market, open, or after-hours — so the site reads as something running rather than something published. Beneath it the headline states the proposition plainly, Trade with discipline. Live with purpose., and the two calls to action route to where the work actually happens: Discord for live discussion, YouTube for the archive. Directly under both sits the educational-content-only and substantial-risk statement. That placement is the point. In this category the disclaimer is usually a compliance tax paid in six-point grey at the bottom of the page; here it is set at the conversion point, in the same visual weight as the invitation, because a community built on discipline cannot open with an exception.
The clearest expression of that is a block naming what the service does not provide — financial advice, investment recommendations, guaranteed outcomes, portfolio management, tax or legal counsel — given the same typographic weight as the offer itself. The register throughout is near-black and gold with a classical serif and a struck-metal monogram, closer to an institution than a signal service, with a stair-stepped chart line running behind the hero as structure rather than ornament. No page in the build states a return, a win rate, or a track record.

Deliverables
- Session-shaped home — a live status bar carrying the trading date, focus, and current session state from pre-market through after-hours
- Live page built around the schedule itself, so a visitor knows when commentary runs before they commit to a platform
- Insights section framing the teachable material — tape reading, risk sizing, market structure — as concepts rather than calls
- About built on five stated principles: discipline, process, risk, faith, and community
- Community routing split cleanly between Discord for live discussion and YouTube for the archive
- An explicit What We Do Not Provide block — no financial advice, no investment recommendations, no guaranteed outcomes, no portfolio management, no tax or legal advice
Highlights
- Compliance-forward by design — every call to action sits above an explicit educational-content-only and substantial-risk statement
- The scope of the offer is defined by what it excludes, stated plainly on the page rather than buried in terms
- Near-black ground with a single gold accent and a classical serif display face; the restraint is the differentiator in a category that shouts
- Monogram set in a struck-metal roundel, with a stair-stepped chart line used as background structure rather than decoration
- No performance figures, returns, or track-record claims anywhere in the build — a deliberate constraint, not an omission
